A gentler place
to meet yourself.

Mood Swing is a wellness companion: not a diagnosis, not a cure. A quiet, well-made space for reflection, breath, and the small daily practices that add up. The prototype is live, take a look inside.

No account needed to look around. It's an early build, so some things are still finding their feet.

What you can try right now

The prototype is the real app, running in your browser: a daily practice, the wellness check-in, a breathing exercise, the 84-day path. English or Romanian, your choice.

Emotional numbness & mood swings

Mood Swing was built for both: the days when you feel too much, and the days when you feel nothing at all.

What is emotional numbness?

Emotional numbness is a state where emotions feel muted, distant, or completely absent. You may feel disconnected from yourself, other people, or experiences that once brought you joy or pain. It's not laziness or indifference. It's often the mind's protective response to prolonged stress, trauma, grief, or burnout.

What causes mood swings?

Mood swings can stem from many sources: hormonal changes, sleep disruption, chronic stress, anxiety, or simply the accumulation of unprocessed emotions. They often feel abrupt and confusing, a calm morning collapsing into irritability by afternoon, with no clear reason. Tracking your emotional patterns is one of the most effective first steps.

How do I deal with emotional numbness?

Reconnecting after numbness takes patience. Small somatic practices (breathing exercises, light movement, gentle emotional check-ins) can gradually reopen the door. Mood Swing guides you through these practices daily, without pressure or performance. If numbness persists or is accompanied by thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional.

Is there a good app for mood swings?

Mood Swing is designed specifically for emotional variability: for people who experience both highs and lows, or long stretches of feeling nothing at all. Through reflection, breath, listening, and gentle guided practice, it helps you build a quieter, more honest relationship with your inner life. Read more about emotional numbness →

Mood Swing is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. findahelpline.com lists helplines in 130+ countries.
